MEET YOUR TRAVEL ADVISOR

Hi, I'm Amber Hartman

I’ve always been the person who researches the resort, compares the room categories, figures out where we should eat and wants to know what’s actually worth the upgrade.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that the part of travel planning other people find overwhelming is the part I genuinely enjoy.

I like knowing why one choice is better than another.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME

Why "The Savory Traveler"?

Travel has always been about more than where I’m going.

Some of my favorite memories from a trip are the things that happen around the edges: an incredible meal, the little beach we almost didn’t find, wandering somewhere without an agenda, or sitting with a drink and realizing there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

That’s what “savory” means to me. It’s about taking the time to really experience a place, not simply checking it off a list. Food is definitely part of that. I love discovering great restaurants when I travel, and traveling gluten-free has made me even more thoughtful about where and how I eat. But it’s also about choosing the resort with the right atmosphere, taking the excursion that’s actually worth giving up a beach day for, and leaving enough room in the itinerary to enjoy where you are.

The best trips give you something to savor.

HOW I TRAVEL SHAPES HOW I PLAN

I notice the details.

I’m the traveler who wants to know which room category has the better view, whether the restaurant everyone recommends is actually worth it, how much time we really have in port, and whether that excursion is worth giving up an afternoon by the pool.

I’ve always traveled that way, and it’s how I plan for my clients too.

01

I RESEARCH DEEPLY.

I’ll sort through the options so you don’t have to, but I won’t give you a list of twenty resorts and ask you to choose.

02

I HAVE OPINIONS.

If I don’t think an upgrade is worth your money, I’ll tell you. If I think spending a little more will meaningfully change the trip, I’ll tell you that too.

03

I CARE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE.

Where you stay matters. So does where you eat, how you get around, what you do, and whether there’s enough room in the trip to actually enjoy it.

Good travel planning is knowing which details matter.

Ready to start planning?

Tell me a little about the trip you're imagining.  You don't need to have all the details figured out yet.
