Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Savory Traveler!

By booking travel services with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your trip.

1. Our Role as Your Travel Advisor
The Savory Traveler acts as an independent travel advisor through Fora Travel. We provide travel planning services and facilitate bookings with third-party suppliers such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators. All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of those individual suppliers.

2. Payment & Booking Terms
A planning fee (if applicable) will be outlined before any work begins. Trip deposits and final payments are subject to the terms set by the travel suppliers. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of funds. Prices are not guaranteed until full payment is made. Pricing may change due to exchange rates, taxes, fuel surcharges, or supplier price increases.

3. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation and change policies are determined by each travel supplier. We will assist you in navigating cancellation processes, but are not responsible for penalties or losses incurred. Planning fees are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.

4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unexpected events such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, and lost baggage. We can provide quotes and facilitate your purchase if requested.

5. Documentation & Entry Requirements
You are responsible for securing all required travel documents, including passports, visas, and vaccinations. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Entry requirements vary by country and can change; we provide guidance but cannot guarantee entry.

6. Health, Safety & Special Needs
It is your responsibility to disclose any medical or accessibility needs before booking. While we strive to accommodate dietary preferences (including gluten-free travel), we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met by third-party providers.

7. Limitation of Liability
The Savory Traveler is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity due to the actions or failures of third-party providers. We are not responsible for force majeure events including but not limited to weather, strikes, pandemics, political unrest, or government actions.

8. Client Responsibilities
Review all travel documents for accuracy. Comply with all supplier and destination policies. Communicate any issues promptly so we can assist in resolving them.

9. Modifications & Updates
These Terms & Conditions are subject to change. The latest version will always be provided prior to trip confirmation.
